Overview

Allied Minds and Cornell University have joined forces to form SaltCheck Inc. to develop and commercialize a new patient salt intake monitoring system that doesn’t require laboratory facilities. Regular monitoring of salt intake is an important factor in the control of hypertension and congestive heart failure. SaltCheck will be developing a technology for use in doctor offices, clinics, and at-home on a worldwide basis. This novel technology is based on research by Drs. Samuel J. Mann and Linda M. Gerber from the Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
