SaltCheck Technology Featured On Innovation Marketplace
04-May-2009
Boston, Massachusetts - SaltCheck, Inc. announced today that its new revolutionary sodium test is now featured on Eureka! Ranch International’s new Innovation Marketplace due to its superior concept scores and large revenue potential. Used easily either in home or in the doctor’s office, SaltCheck works much like a pregnancy test to immediately determine sodium levels in a spot check of a patient’s urine. A recently completed clinical at the Cornell Medical Center confirms SaltCheck’s accuracy, reliability, and value as a new diagnostic in the treatment of hypertension.
“This is a very BIG idea – superior to any other way to test – this is real technology backed by very credible investors. Any health care company should take a serious look at this idea,” said Bruce Hall, Managing Partner of Eureka! Ranch.
This new Innovation Markeplace, called Planet Eureka, is the brainchild of the Eureka! Ranch, a Cincinnati based company that consults in innovation engineering. Since 1986, the company has helped create and develop $1.5 billion worth of new products and services for Fortune 100 companies such as Disney and Procter & Gamble. In the past 18 months the Eureka! Ranch, working with the Commerce Department and the Manufacturing Extension Partnership, has helped small companies create over $300 million in new sales.
“Allied Minds is extremely pleased with the results from the simulation as well as the SaltCheck technology being featured on the Innovation Marketplace. The Eureka! Ranch spotlight can help accelerate our efforts in bringing this groundbreaking test to the market to help patients and doctors worldwide in managing hypertension," added Mr. Eichenberger, COO of Allied Minds. A full report can be found at: Planet Eureka!
Eureka! Ranch utilized its Merwyn Business Simulation to evaluate SaltCheck for (1) quality of the idea, (2) innovation status, (3) sales forecast, and (4) fair market valuation. SaltCheck received scores double the average for its ease of use, large potential market and dramatic impact the product can have on users. Additionally, the company’s proprietary position makes this attractive to potential partners.
