RF Biocidics Records First Commercial Sale

31-Mar-2010
Vacaville, California - RF Biocidics is proud to announce the first commercial sale of their RF disinfestation and disinfection solution to Latitude 1.  Latitude 1 is a pioneer in the organic foods industry with operations in Northern California processing a wide range of nut based food commodities from almonds, walnuts, macadamia, and pine nut products for use at industrial food processors and the local retail market.

As a launch partner Latitude 1 will be working closely with RF Biocidics in co-development efforts to ensure our devices meet and exceed regulations governing and the unique operating conditions of producers in the food industry. "Together we believe we will be able to establish a new standard for sustainable, eco-friendly food processing that ensures a level of food safety heretofore unseen." says Marc Eichenberger CEO of RF Biocidics.

While this marks a major milestone for RF Biocidics, it is only the tip of the proverbial food safety iceberg and will only accelerate as RF technology is adapted for applications throughout the food supply chain and into non-food related industries seeking an environmentally friendly, cost effective alternative to the threat of pests and pathogens.
