RF Biocidics Completes Compliance Testing for FCC Certification on Road to Commercialization

26-Apr-2010
Vacaville, California – A major milestone in the commercialization of RF processing was completed today with the successful completion of certification tests for RF Biocidics’ new pasteurization equipment. In conjunction with third party testing service UL/CSS, RF Biocidics has developed a device that complies fully with FCC regulations while applying our advanced RF processing technology to ensure safe food without the use of chemicals or ionizing radiation. FCC compliance is especially challenging at the power levels and configurations where our equipment is deployed, making this a particularly important milestone in the commercialization of our technology.  While much work remains, the firm is now well on its way to changing the way we secure our food supply.
