OverviewCephalogics, LLC is working to develop and commercialize a novel neuroimaging device employing a wearable imaging cap. This technology will represent a significant gain in terms of cost and ease of use over current technologies which use large, room-size scanners for mapping human brain function. It will support neuroimaging, continuous bedside imaging, and critical care monitoring. A primary area of interest for Cephalogics is developing technology for critical care monitoring of infants and neonates, since they are particularly vulnerable to brain-related disabilities.Cephalogics’ technology is being developed as a result of a partnership between Allied Minds and Dr. Joseph P. Culver at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Culver is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology. |
